IV. In The Raw

In The Raw is based on the idea that once you realize your making, your upbringing, the constraints, pressures, burdens and wounds that were not actually yours to own or hold, your can be free.

This is a burn about the knowing that the very wounds, trials and tribulations that broke you will cause you to be in immense pain, inevitably, but you can get to that place when you get to see for the first time. This clarity teaches you that these fucked up unfair past traumas are also your wins because you overcame. The very things that will make you who you’re meant to be are the things that formerly broke you down. Knowledge of our past is our superpower. Once you fill your wounds with loving acceptance and knowledge, they are your abusers’ worst nightmare.

It’s a sort of stripped down to nothing moment where everything is yet to come. It’s painful to revisit and honor one’s past but it’s really exciting to know you get to recreate a better future undefined by anyone else’s intrusion on and violations on your life.

It’s a candle of rebirth, and based upon the idea that once you feel through and heal these hard life traumas and adversities, your life doesn’t have to be over. In fact, it’s just about to start.
